For patch 1.5 they have INCREASED the delay due to some community feedback that it's too hard to kill those who go prone before the shot.

This post is to determine the number of people willing to make a payment in order to rent a server for a 6 month period of time. The rate last quoted to me for my previous server as $300/month. I'm uncertain if this rate is still valid, but its a starting point.

If you're willing to commit to an amount, please post with the amount you're willing to pay for the initial amount as well as a monthly amount to start collecting payments for the next 6 months.

If the 6 month amount reaches $3600 committed and $600/month (I know its double what it will cost, but not everyone will pay either and unsure if the server price will be higher), I'll then ask for those payments and purchase the server rental for as long as I'm able. I'll also put up a meter for funds collected for the next cycle.

Do NOT send any money at this point. This is only an info collecting post at this point. Do not put an amount down unless you will be able to pay that amount.

I'll keep a running total in the next post along with names.

Well, looks like the previous server was turned off over Christmas. Running on a forums only server at the moment. No one has shown me any other options better than what I'm currently running the forums on and since I no longer have any interest in BF2, its up to the community to come up with a solution if anyone wants. (Anything less than a linux dedicated server with 8gb ram and 200 gb drive and will be inadequate.)
